“..The artist has felt the preponderant call of the landscape in the last twenty years; first rendered in the formal and chromatic fidelity of its elements, then more and more freely in a synthesis that the use of the spatula, working on the softness of the material, has made gradually more suggestive. The landscape that takes shape on his canvases has neglected precise objective recognisability over time. ..the artist tends more than in the past to interpret the sensations offered to him by reality, replacing them with inventions that diverge from it. The compositions performed in oil, acrylic or mixed media expand, especially on large canvases, in solemn scenographies, in imaginative visions that burn in ranges of vivid colors. represented in this way becomes his subject and his only. ”
